Beyond our solar system there is a vast universe and numerous planets and stars. Space scientists confirmed this long ago, but they could not confirm the details and number of planets located outside the solar system. News Hindustan Times.

The work started in the right direction from 1990. Overcoming uncertainty, scientists have confirmed about 5,500 exoplanets in a few decades.

This exoplanet discovery and confirmation process is an important milestone in understanding the vast universe beyond the solar system. The term 'exoplanet' refers to planets in other constellations outside the solar system. With the discovery of six new exoplanets, scientists have reached the target of finding 5500 exoplanets.

Confirmation of the first exoplanets began just 31 years ago in 1992, when scientists identified the twin planets Poltergeist and Phobator orbiting the pulsar PSR B1257+12. In March 2022, scientists reached the goal of discovering 5,000 exoplanets. And this year that number reached 5 thousand 500. Scientists recently discovered six new exoplanets. These are HD 36384b, TOI-198b, TOI-2095b, TOI-2095c, TOI-4860b and MWC 758c respectively.
